THE SHROUD STUDIES PROJECT:

Face to Faith

The Shroud Studies Project: Face to Faith exists as a powerful nexus of evangelization, education, scholarship, and curation. This project is dedicated to providing a platform for faith, history, science, and art to meet in ongoing dialogue and through international collaborations, including the Center for the International Study of the Shroud in Turin, Italy.
“The Shroud is not only a historical or religious sign; it is a symbol that continues to question, inspire, and bring people closer. In an age where the image has become the privileged tool of communication, its emotional impact is particularly strong.”
Enrico Simonato, Secretary General
The Center for the International Study of the Shroud
Turin, Italy

Our mission is centered around the most fascinating artifact known to exist:
The Shroud of Turin.

A significant anchor of this ongoing work is the Richard Orareo Collection, the third largest collection of Shroud-related artworks and artifacts in the world.
Our mission is to approach the Shroud of Turin not only an object of study but also a catalyst for faith. Through ongoing research, thoughtful exhibitions, and digital resources, the project invites scholars, seekers, and the faithful alike, to engage with the Shroud as both an academic challenge and as a gift to faith and human reason.
Face to Faith reflects our conviction that the Shroud of Turin compels us beyond
the limits of history and science toward the deepest mysteries of the human heart.
